Honouring the Past, Racing Towards the Future:
Bell Bridge Racing to Return After Nearly a Decade
North Cumbria-based Bell Bridge Racing is preparing to return to the track after nearly ten years racing under the name. The team has a proud history, having produced notable horses such as Emirate Isle, Aggravation, Muwalla, and Tension Point.
The family syndicate that originally operated Bell Bridge Racing was dissolved following the sad loss of two of its members, Arthur Cowin and Frank Henderson. Now, the team returns with renewed focus, fresh energy, and ambition to make its mark once again in local and regional racing, honouring the memory of Arthur and Frank and ensuring that the legacy they helped build continues to inspire every step forward.
Looking Ahead
Bell Bridge Racing is taking a dual approach to get back into racing. We plan to breed and develop our own flat horses while also acquiring ready-to-run horses to compete in the meantime. This strategy allows us to actively participate in races while building our future line up.
The combination of breeding and racing reflects Bell Bridge Racing’s ambition to re-establish our presence and chase success in local and regional events.
Back At It
We're thrilled to announce that we're back racing with a 75% share in Perseus Way!
What a night at Hexham Racecourse, where Perseus Way triumphed under the skilled hands of Harry Reed. In his first race for us, he finished in a strong 3rd place, and just a week later, he returned to Hexham to secure a fantastic win. A huge congratulations to the entire team for this incredible achievement and for their dedication and support!
